This “little guy” silouette is practicing “Rocking Motion”
- Bruce Childs
I am an accredited teacher and practitioner of T’ai Chi Chih , a visual artist and professor emeritus Austin Peay State University, Clarksville Tennessee. I live on Cape Cod and in Albuquerque New Mexico.
- What is T’a Chi Chih?
T’ai Chi Chih is a modern meditative exercise form. Other forms of T’ai Chi practice include T’ai Chi Ch’uan and Qi Gong. What all of these ancient and modern practices have in common are the benefits of improved health through movement and meditation. Practitioners of T’a Chi Chih regularly experience the positive affects of serenity, harmony of body and mind, balance and softness of motion. For a deeper understanding of T’ai Chi Chih I suggest a visit to http://www.taichichih.org/.
- Visible T’ai Chi Chih
With the help of continuous postings based upon my personal practice, teaching and communications with the T’ai Chi Chih community it is my intention to broadcast the benefits of T’ai Chi Chih in the eastern Massachusetts area and to teach this wonderful form of moving meditation, originated by Justin Stone.
A place for me to post discussions about my creative work in printmaking and photography. By posting timely gallery content of ongoing work, it is my intention to share the visible portion of my journey back to Cape Cod. My visual work and practice of T’ai Chi Chih are intertwined, both of which sustain and promote healing and peace of mind.
